Broadway Boogie-Woogie

 

Original idea from 1994 was to dig trenches on actuall battlefield nearby the town of Sarajevo. Unfortunatelly,

idea wasn't realized due to war, but i have it on my mind since than. Now, after 11 years I decided

to build a model which suppose to discribe the idea. I choose Piet Mondrian's famous painting "Broadway Boogie-Woogie"

to be a layout for trenches. Logic of war is confronting logic of art at the site.
